This Privacy Policy applies to Mommy — Baby Tracker & Diary (the “App”), its iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, widget and Live Activity features, and the Mommy website. The App is designed for parents, guardians and caregivers.
At a glance: your baby diary is stored through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services in your Apple account, not in a baby-diary database operated by LLAPPS LTD. Mommy does not require a separate Mommy login. The App does send limited product-usage, technical, purchase and pseudonymous identifier data to the providers described below.
1. Controller and contact
Mommy is developed and operated by LLAPPS LTD, EIK 208492694, Bacho Kiro 1 street, floor 8, office 8-3, 9000 Varna, Bulgaria. LLAPPS LTD is the controller for the processing described in this Policy unless a listed provider acts as an independent controller under its own terms.
For privacy questions or requests, email mommy@llapps.com.
2. Baby diary data and Apple iCloud
Depending on how you use Mommy, your baby diary can include a baby profile, birth details and measurements; feeding, pumping, sleep, stroll, diaper, temperature, medicine, drink and solid-food entries; reminders; growth and skill records; notes; and the summaries and charts calculated from those records.
Mommy stores and syncs this content using Apple technologies, including Core Data and CloudKit, in the private or shared databases associated with your Apple iCloud account. Apple processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy. LLAPPS LTD does not operate a separate server that stores the contents of your baby diary.
Copies needed for widgets, Live Activities and Apple Watch features may be stored on your devices or in an Apple app group. Your information may also be included in an Apple device or iCloud backup if you enable Apple backup features.
3. Shared Access
When you use Shared Access, Apple CloudKit creates and manages the share, invitation and participant permissions. People you invite may be able to view or edit the shared baby diary according to the permission you grant. They can see content added before or after they join while their access remains active.
Only invite people you trust and are authorized to share the child’s information with. You can manage participants or stop sharing in Mommy. Apple may process account, invitation, device and technical information needed to provide iCloud sharing.
4. Product analytics
Mommy uses Amplitude and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature use, improve the App and measure reliability. Depending on the event, this can include app launches, screens and features used, taps and actions, activity categories, whether certain profile fields were added, selected measurement units, onboarding progress, reminder and sharing actions, timeline or statistics interactions, subscription-flow events, and whether an Apple Watch, widget or premium entitlement is present.
Analytics providers can also receive timestamps, session information, app and iOS versions, device model or category, language or locale, approximate region derived from an IP address, and provider-specific installation or device identifiers. Mommy assigns Amplitude a device identifier stored in the iOS Keychain and a pseudonymous CloudKit user record identifier. The App may also associate a push token and RevenueCat user identifier with the analytics profile.
Mommy does not intentionally add a baby’s name, raw notes, measurement values or the complete baby diary to product analytics. Some narrowly scoped diagnostic events can contain an activity category, technical error description, counts, date ranges or exact activity timestamps needed to reproduce a statistics or sync failure. Pseudonymous identifiers and these diagnostic details are personal data when they can be associated with a device, account or user over time.
5. Diagnostics, configuration and notifications
Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash reports, stack traces, app state, timestamps, app and iOS versions, device information, technical error details and the pseudonymous CloudKit user record identifier assigned by the App. Firebase Remote Config processes ordinary request and device information to deliver configuration used by Mommy.
Apple may process device tokens, notification settings and CloudKit change notifications to deliver reminders, Live Activities and sync updates. Notification content can appear on a locked device depending on the choices you make in Mommy and iOS Settings.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store payments. Mommy uses RevenueCat to manage products, subscription entitlements and purchase restoration. Apple and RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, the CloudKit user record identifier used by Mommy, Apple receipt and transaction information, product identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, trial or offer status, renewal status and technical app or device information.
LLAPPS LTD and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
7. Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the email address you use, the contents of your message and any screenshot, document, video or other attachment you choose to send. Please avoid including information that is not needed to answer your request. Your email provider and our email provider process the message under their own terms.
8. Website data and cookies
The Mommy website does not set cookies, use browser storage, run web analytics or embed advertising pixels. Firebase Hosting and its security infrastructure can still process ordinary request logs such as IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp and response status to deliver and protect the website.
9. Why we process information
- To provide diary storage and sync, Shared Access, reminders, widgets, Live Activities, subscriptions, purchase restoration and support.
- To understand feature adoption and improve the App’s usability and performance.
- To diagnose crashes and sync failures, deliver configuration, secure the service and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
10. Legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar law applies, LLAPPS LTD relies on the following legal bases as appropriate:
- Performance of a contract to provide requested App, subscription and support functions.
- Legitimate interests to keep Mommy reliable and secure, understand product performance and improve the service where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent when iOS or the App asks you to allow notifications or access to a device feature, or when another consent control is shown and consent is the applicable basis. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Legal obligation where records or disclosures are required by law.
11. Providers and recipients
- Apple: App Store distribution and billing, iCloud and CloudKit storage and sharing, device backup, notifications, Apple Watch, widgets and Live Activities.
- Google Firebase: Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config and website hosting.
- Amplitude: product-usage analytics and pseudonymous user or device measurement.
- RevenueCat: subscription, entitlement, receipt and purchase restoration management.
- Email providers: delivery and storage of support communications you send to us.
We do not sell your personal information or use the baby diary for targeted advertising. A provider may process information under its own terms when it acts as an independent controller, such as Apple for your Apple account and App Store transactions.
12. Retention
- Baby diary data: remains in your devices and Apple iCloud until you edit or delete it, remove it from the relevant private or shared CloudKit database, delete applicable backups, or take another action provided by Apple. Removing the App from one device may not delete data stored in iCloud or on other devices.
- Analytics and diagnostics: retained under the applicable provider and project settings for as long as needed to compare product trends, diagnose failures and protect the service, then deleted or aggregated. Removing the App stops future collection from that installation but does not by itself erase records already sent to providers.
- Keychain identifiers: can remain on a device after the App is deleted and reinstalled.
- Purchase records: retained as needed to provide and restore entitlements and meet accounting, tax, consumer, fraud-prevention and legal obligations.
- Support records: retained while a request is handled and for a limited period afterward for follow-up, security and necessary business or legal records, then deleted or anonymized.
13. Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete diary entries in Mommy, manage iCloud and backups in Apple settings, manage Shared Access participants, control notifications in iOS Settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple. Deleting Mommy does not cancel an active subscription.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data processed by LLAPPS LTD, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Because provider records use pseudonymous identifiers, we may need information from the App to locate them and verify your request. Email mommy@llapps.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority or Bulgaria’s Commission for Personal Data Protection.
14. Children’s privacy
Mommy is intended for adult parents, guardians and caregivers, not for children to use independently. A user who enters or shares information about a child must be authorized to do so. We do not use child routine information for targeted advertising. Contact us if you believe child information was provided without appropriate authority.
15. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including Apple account access controls, encrypted network transport and restricted provider access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
LLAPPS LTD is established in Bulgaria. Apple and other providers may process information in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as Mommy, its providers or applicable requirements change. We will post the current version on this page, update the date above and provide additional notice where required by law.
